The Little Things!

 

Leaving our old home was hard...like real hard! Leaving was so bittersweet and I was reminded of how much I totally hate goodbyes! Of course we are thrilled to be in our gorgeous new house and to be near our family (finally!), but there are definitely things we'll miss about our house and community we lived in for 5+ years! It seemed like our whole lives were in this little 5 mile radius from our house and we loved our little bubble! Here are some things we want to remember...

Jillian's room! We spent months when I was pregnant trying to figure out how to decorate the nursery... We'll miss it and her tree!

Jillian and her boyfriend....he was in the "crib next door" when we first started at this daycare! We LOVED the teachers and the other parents there and miss them so much! They set the bar and we really miss her school!!

 

 
Jillian's first friends! The three of them started in the baby room together and it was awesome watching all of them reach their milestones together.

Fall favs

There are no words to describe the pure joy and excitement in Jillian's face when playing in the leaves in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard! I just love how the simplicity of playing in the leaves made her so happy on this beautiful fall day! Now if only I could figure out which one to frame...!

More October cuteness!!

Here's what Jillian was up to in October....

 

Spoon training! She has a love/hate relationship with utensils...it's a work in progress....

Well being this cute is exhausting, so she had to take a rest of course!

Pumpkin Painting!!

I am so behind in real blogging it's not even funny. I mean it's downright embarrassing how behind I am....we just had Christmas and I'm about to post some fall pics - omg....! I tease you every now and then with a pic I take on my cell phone, but now that I'm reunited with my camera and computer I can update you with real pics!!!

In October, Jillian and I had a craft date with our dear friends Julia, Elise, and Stella and we painted pumpkins. It was heaven!! Crafts = HEAVEN in my book!! Julia went all out and got paint, feathers, stickers, and googley eyes for the pumpkins (because what pumpkins aren't complete without googley eyes?!) It was awesome and we had a blast - thanks for hosting us girls!! :)

Here she is finally getting into it. I don't think she knew quite what to do since we usually just paint on paper. This multi media pumpkin was a whole new artistic experience for her!! (are you proud Dana and Ann?!!??)
