We had the best cheerers EVER. We were so excited our parents and family could come cheer us on! It really made such a difference and made the race fun.

The RACE!!

We had SO much fun at the HALF MARATHON today! Here are a few pics - many more to come!!

You have to set your clothes out the night before since our alarm went off at 4:45am today...

 

Yowza was it warm today! It was a gorgeous day, but almost a little bit toasty for running (or at least it was much toastier than 90% of our training runs!) Check this out - 65 degrees at 5:30am...!

The Terminal Tower lit up in purple greeted us this morning.

Here is our "before" picture! Steve, Mike, Kelly and I before we headed to the start line for the festivities. The scariest part of the race is when you leave each other and have to line up at the start line by yourself! I was crazy nervous today...!

Warm Yoga

My warm yoga class is amazing! After an hour and 15 minutes of yoga in a 90 degree room, you feel SO GOOD! You work up quite a sweat, but you feel rejuvenated at the same time. The best part of class is at the end when you're in "final relaxation" pose (aka - laying down on the mat like you're about to fall asleep). The teacher comes around with these cold wash cloths that she's marinated in some scented water or something - it's aromatherapy for your face and it's so refreshing! Sometimes it's a minty scent, sometimes it's citrus and sometimes it's lavender. Then she puts on the Adele CD and we just lay there for a few minutes relaxing to the music and the scents - it's so awesome!!! I love it!

Are you jealous? Guess who we got to see?? ANN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY BBE! She was in town and we got to hang out with her and have a sleepover and it was HEAVEN!

Last night I successfully cooked my very FIRST grill meal ever!! No one got salmonella and everyone still has their eyebrows. SUCCESS!

For just a few thousand dollars, you TOO can own your very own, brand new air conditioner....Don't be jealous of our recent acquisition. It's glamorous, and fancy, and we can't wait to show it off to all our friends. We are the envy of the cul-de-sac.
