Babymoon

This is where we were yesterday...on a beautiful white, sugary sand beach with crystal clear water. Today we were back at desks in front of computers and never-ending inboxes. SIGH....post-vacation depression has officially set in...

All the rain really made our pansies bloom! Not bad for getting them on clearance huh?!

6 Months

6 months down, 3 to go...! (Maybe more like 2.5 or 2.75 months. We told the baby to come just a little bit early.  I'm sure it will listen to us!)

Cleveland Half

This past Sunday Steve and our awesome bro-in-law Mike ran the Cleveland Half Marathon! They both trained so hard and for so long, and were rewarded with amazing results. Steve not only got a PR, but he CRUSHED his PR by 5 MINUTES, finishing the 13.1 miles in 1:26! Can you believe that? I am SO proud of him and his dedication and commitment to training. He made it look so easy!

Congrats to Steve and Mike for an amazing race!!!

Half Marathon Man

This is Steve after he CRUSHED his PR at the Cleveland Half Marathon on Sunday.  You can look up his time online, but you won't even believe anyone could run that fast! Lightning speed....seriously! More on the race soon....! SO proud of him!!!!

Friends Shower!

Our amazing, super fun and generous friends threw us a baby shower a few weeks ago! They are so cute and creative and totally went all out for us. We were so touched by their kindness and had such an amazing time. We LOVE our friends!!

Sara whips up everything from scratch all the time...that's how she rolls and she's an amazing chef!

And most importantly, there was CAKE! Rachael made this cake! Can you believe it!!? It was so awesome and perfectly matched the invites! She's the cake boss! (She also makes the worlds best salsa...my mouth is watering just thinking about it!)

Mmmm...I ate everything (obviously) and it was all amazing!

 

There was a onesie decorating station! A craft lovers dream!!!!

These make me laugh so hard - they are hilarious and we know the baby will look

amazing in all of these!

And my insanely creative friend Ronke set up a PHOTO BOOTH! Photo booths are my favorite thing ever and the pics make me laugh so hard!

We had a great time logging gender guesses! I can't wait to look back and see who was right!

Julia is expecting #2 right now! She's 8 mo preggo here and is such an awesome mom. She should be a professional party planner - seriously!

My pal Whitney

My amazing bestie Whitney came all the way down last weekend for the baby shower that are darling friends threw for us! (more on that later). She is so funny and expecting #2 right now - she's due just 3 weeks before me!! She has a beautiful, almost-3-year-old, little boy and has a girl on the way. SO excited for her awesome family!!

ME: "So Whit, do you think we're having a boy or a girl?"
WHITNEY: "Well that depends....is your leg hair growing faster or slower now that you're preggo?"
ME: "Ummm...I guess slower...?"
WHITNEY: "Girl. You're definitely having a girl. For sure."

Tick Tock

I only have one more 4-week doctor's appointment, then I switch to 2-week doctor's appointments! YAY!! Here are Steve and I on Easter. Steve said I don't actually look this big, but that I was standing at a weird angle. He's a good husband, isn't he?! So sweet :)
