Stomach Flu

The stomach flu is the WORST THING EVER. Seriously....don't worry though, I got some great advice from WebMD to avoid future situations:

So what can you do? One sure flu prevention tip is to avoid close contact with people who are sick. Anyone who is at high risk from the seasonal flu should avoid crowds and public places during the usual flu season, from late October to mid-March.

Ummm thanks for your stellar advice WebMD....I'll be sure to avoid leaving the house from October to March. Excellent...

New Years Resolutions

If you're looking to kick off your New Years diet, may I suggest the 24 hour stomach flu? You will feel awful for much longer than 24 hours, thus ensuring that all you consume is a steady diet of soup, crackers, and sprite. You will lose inches around your waist! You may wish for a quick death because surely it would be better than the pain you feel right now, but wow - will you look AMAZING once you are feeling better!!

I bet you didn't know what a special day October 23 was for me. Of course in 2010, this magical thing happened:

But on October 23, 1983, guess what else happened? That was the day I got Christened! Can you believe that coincidence? I guess God knew what a special day that would be for me! Love it!

2014? Already? Really??? Wow! Today is not only New Years Day, but it's also the birthday of my fabulous, beautiful, awesome mother in law! She celebrates a HUGE milestone today....29 (again!)!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINN!!
