6 mo stats!

Jillian got a glowing report at her 6 mo appointment today! She is 27" long and 16.4lbs. She cried for a few seconds after she got her shots, but started smiling at the nurse as soon as I picked her up! The doc said her ears looks excellent and she reached all her developmental milestones. Phew!! We are so lucky and thankful for this healthy baby :)

So lady like....sort of!

Tub Time

Sundays with Jillian

This is what we do on Sundays. Snuggle, play, nap, eat, repeat. :)

Here is a rare picture together. Aside from our selfies last week, we really have very few pics of me and her together because I'm usually the one taking all the pics! I'm not kidding - there are probably less than 10 of just me and Jillian and we've taken thousands of pics so far....Oops. At least I showered before this picture was taken! Victory!

I love how Jillian kicks her legs like this when she's on her tummy- she looks just like an adult, so funny!

Sleeping Beauty

This is how I picked up Jillian from daycare last week. One foot out of her crib, one sock off, one sleeve rolled up. She was totally disheveled and it was hilarious!

 

Food

 

Jillian loves food! So far she's eaten everything we've put in front of her, we're very lucky. So far she's had carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, avocados, and rice cereal. Her fav seems to be the sweet potatoes. She loves dinner time!

6 Months Old

It's official - we have a 6 month old baby!! She gets more and more fun everyday and we just love her to pieces!!! Here's a little bit about Jillian at 6 months....

Likes:

• eating her hands
• eating toys
• eating solids, sweet potatoes are her fav so far!
• using her hands to pick up things so she can put them in her mouth and taste them
• tummy time
• toys that play music
• looking at the cute baby in the mirror, who magically smiles back at her every time she smiles at her :)
• water bottles, she's fascinated by them
• baths
• smiling!!!

Dislikes:

• having her nose wiped with a tissue
• sticking the turkey-baster booger sucker thing up her nose
• being buckled in the car seat at first
• putting on a long sleeve shirt over a long sleeve shirt

6 months!!!

Guess who is officially 6 months old today?! Jillian!!!!! Happy Half Birthday!!!!!!!!

Jillian's BFF

Jillian has a BFF, and she's the daughter of my BFF Whitney! Lena is just 2.5 weeks older than Jillian. Here are Jillian and Lena in their respective ovens:

 

And here they are meeting for the first time, around 2 mo old!! Jillian was thrilled to meet her, but she was not thrilled about being put down on the couch......!

Lena was happy to meet Jillian for sure!

And we reunited them this past weekend! Both about 6 mo old!
