Tummy Time

Overall, Jillian hates tummy time! Sometimes it goes well, like this:

 

But most of the time it looks something like this!

2 Months!

This little peanut turned 2 months already...can you believe it?? We went to her 2 month doctor's appointment last week and she's 11lbs, 8oz, and grew 2" since her last doctor's appointment!! Now she's 23" long. She got 2 shots and took them like a champ! She cried for a minute or two, but then we picked her up and she was fine! Later that night she was kind of sad (maybe her legs were sore where she got jabbed?), but she was back to her smiley self the next day! We are so thankful for this healthy baby :)

Who can turn the world on with her smile?

In case you didn't know, Jillian is getting a cousin for Christmas! Steve's brother and our sister-in-law are expecting their first baby on Christmas Day - we couldn't ask for a better Christmas present this year! We traveled to PA this weekend for their baby shower and it was great to see them. Congrats Dave & Rachael - can't wait for Baby Rudolph to be born!! (I suggested Rudolph for a name choice! They politely declined....cant imagine why?!) hehehe! We are so excited for their bundle of JOY!!

Halloween

Someone's getting ready for Halloween in their kitty outfit!

Besties!

I have the best friends EVER! I'm not kidding - I really do. We all used to live in Columbus together (which was heaven!) but life has taken us all in different directions and now we all live far apart :(  We get together as much as we can, but it's tough with the distance. That doesn't stop us from communicating as much as humanly possible! They make me laugh and am so thankful they've taken leaps and bounds to come meet Jillian. Jillian loves her aunties!!!

Jillian and her BFF Lena! Whitney gave birth to Lena about 2.5 weeks before I gave birth to Jillian! Whitney drove an hour and a half just to meet our sweet pea!

 

They were destined to be BFFs! Here they were in the oven :) (May 2014)

Lauren and Ann FLEW in to see Jillian! They flew in to Columbus, rented a car, and drove all the way down here just to meet Jillian. I can't tell you how excited I was to see them! Cheers all around!

Thank you SO much to all 3 ladies for making the trip. It means the world to me!

Well I'd say our daily smile practice is paying off! Look at this sweet angel face!! (I was on speaker phone with Aunt Jen at the same time I was taking these pics. She either loves her mama, or she just loves Aunt Jen's voice!!)
