Roommates!!

Well, I finally moved in--Steve and I are ROOMMATES! So excited! The Mom and Dad moving company came down from Cleveland to move me out of my "should-be-condemned-apartment" into our gorgeous new house! Thanks for helping us make our house a HOME!!

True confessions of a Quarter-lifer...

Guilty pleasure: Reading other people's blogs who have a WAY more interesting life than I do! My favs are travel blogs (people who travel to really cool places) and cooking blogs (people who can cook WAY better than I can--which is pretty much everyone...!).

Cocktail Club

My girlfriends and I started the cocktail club a few years ago. I was just having a cocktail--by myself...sigh... :( but then I remembered how wonderful my cocktail clubbers are! Here's a pic of a cocktail club in a Grandview bar a few years ago. Seems like just yesterday! :)

We still have cocktail club, but we now celebrate in multiple states!

We have such fabulous friends! Our fabulous friends came over this weekend and we are so lucky to have great friends so close! xoxoxo

I'm in love with the blue tootsie rolls and I don't care who knows it! They're in a blue wrapper, but they're vanilla flavor. HEAVEN!!

My pal Tom (who I've seen in concert before--can't believe he's still alive!!) has some very wise lyrics from a great song. He says "Oh the waiting is the hardest part!" Of course he sings it like "oh the way-ay-ting is the hard-est part!!" Well said Tom--you're right!

I'm currently waiting to see if I got a job. Which also means I'm waiting to see if I'll have a totally new and different life in the next 2 weeks...! In a new zip code! In a house! Living with a boy!

Our garden is amazing! It seems like there's always a new surprise and flower blooming. I was most excited about this recent discovery of daisies!

Jen, Mike, and the kids came to visit. Oops--we taught them how to gamble!

Our first harvest--a massive eggplant and some tomatoes! I have a feeling we're going to be getting a LOT of tomatoes in the next few weeks. Anyone need some?!

Taking a stroll on the fabulous parkway a mile from our house. There's 50-60 miles of trail for us to discover. It's definitely one of our fav highlights of our new home :)

Another Bday...

Oh bad news...I turned "25" AGAIN this week....Just a few more birthdays away from botox...

Stop and smell the roses :)

If you know me at all, you know I enjoy a good park! The Columbus Park of Roses is the best park in Columbus, hands down! I think it's more of a garden than a park, but regardless--it's so gorgeous! I went for a run last night and decided to run to this park. It was so beautiful! They have every color of rose known to man, and even have a whole section of purple roses! Crazy! It's such a calming place and it smells fabulous! I totally plan on taking my own pics of my fav Columbus place before I move! LOVE IT! Check it out!
