We've got a new driver in the house!! Thanks to Aunt Jen, we got this hand me down from one of the twins! We remember pushing the twins to the playground in matching cars a few years ago, so it was super fun to push Jillian in it this time! She was a little unsure at first, but LOVED the car ride within 2.5 seconds...! I think she thought she was on a ride at Kings Island or something, because she was just squealing with delight! She was having the time of her life!! Here she is being a good driver - adjusting the steering wheel, checking her blind spots, etc. She was cruising!!!!

Hope you're hungry...

Dinner time can be hilarious, and certainly messy! She's very good at picking up table food (unless it's real slippery) and enjoys feeding herself. It's so funny watching her eat things for the first time. Her favs as of now seem to be avocado, bread, and bananas - she loves bananas!!!

She has a love/hate relationship with a cup. She's still pretty new to it, so we'll see how it goes...

And when she's done or tired, she usually rubs whatever is on her hands in her eyes, hair, and all over her face...oops

Jillian is lucky enough to have lots of little baby friends around! Here are her besties, Stella and Elise. Stella and Jillian were in their respective ovens for part of the same time, and Stella is getting ready to turn 1 in a few weeks! They are BFFs already and we love it!! Check out these a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e. cuties.....!

A round of applause

Jillian gave me an awesome mother's day present....she learned how to clap!! Daddy had been trying to teach her for weeks, but she finally put 2 and 2 together....literally! Here's her first clap!

And she just waved this week for the first time! I think it was more than just flailing her arms around, I think she intentionally waved!! We've been trying to get her to wave for weeks now....hopefully she'll keep it up because it is SO cute!

A very special weekend for a very special person!

I'm way behind on blogging. Blame an awesome yet super busy weekend at home last weekend, and a sick baby this week, and lots going on at work and that equals a large delay of blog posts. My apologies!!!

More to catch up on later, but most importantly we celebrated a VERY important birthday last weekend! My Father-in-Law had a milestone birthday this week!!! Let's just say he's a few decades older than a quarter-lifer...mmm hmmm......!! We surprised him with a little birthday celebration and had loads of family fun - Happy Birthday Jerry!!

Jillian got to meet her cousin Esme for the first time! I think they are best buddies already....I can just feel it!

Steve and I went a little nuts with the bday decorations...it was so fun! Don't have to tell me twice about a themed party....done and DONE! I live for reasons to make crafts!! Thank God Jerry finally turned 60 so we could make all this stuff! woop woop!
