Just in case...

The nights have been a little chilly lately. Just in case the frost gets the best of the flowers, I took a few more pics!!

Spring has sprung!

Spring has sprung around here and it could not be more gorgeous! We are absolutely in love with our bulbs too - check out the pics. Not too shabby for Walmart daffodils and Costco flowers, huh?!

5K!

Yesterday Steve and I ran a really fun 5k. The course itself wasn't all that great (we had to run through a few parking lots and some speed bumps - odd...?), but the race overall was so fun! They had hot coffee and cold beer at the finish line - breakfast of champions!! Check it out:

But we had an awesome race! Steve came in 18th place overall - out of 4000 people!! I came in 88th place overall. We killed it in our age category though. In males 20-29, Steve came in 3rd place! And in females 20-29, I came in 2nd place! I've never been any good in the sports/athletics department, so this is a HUGE accomplishment for me! I'm so pumped!
