2 Years

Can you believe this special day was 2 years ago yesterday? Here we were - 2 years and 1 day ago on October 23, 2010:

Here we are celebrating our first anniversary in Chicago - October 23, 2011

And here we are celebrating our second anniversary in Louisville! We spent the weekend tasting Louisville's finest bourbon at a few distilleries. So fun! Even more special than bourbon was October 23, 2012 - the day we celebrate 2 years of love and commitment!

FALL

As many of you know, fall is my absolute FAVORITE season! It's the best season of all, with the best event happening in just a few days - our anniversary!!! We started this fall with 5 mums, then I bought and planted 3 more, then Mom and Dad bought us one too! I think I have a mum obsession....! Check out our fall house.

Domestic Diva

Sometimes I like to pretend that I'm a domestic diva. This week I made 6 pairs of earrings and pumpkin woopie pies. No big deal!

Graduation day!

Great news - we graduated from cake class! Tonight was our final class - we had to make and frost a cake, then bring it in so we could cover it in fondant. The great news about fondant is that you can just slap it over your uneven, crumbly frosting and no one can tell! Shhhh!!
