Yeah I made scones! I'm getting pumped for the royal wedding. First stop-scones. Next stop-tea and crumpets!

Lenten Goals

I think I'm going to give up corporate networking events for Lent. Highlights from last night's work event include, but are not limited to, the following:

• a scenic hour drive to the event in the pouring rain, in rush hour, to a building that was only 10 miles away
• event set up
• an hour of "networking"
  
• dinner with strangers
  
• a speaker, presenting a topic on God knows what, who proceeded to speak for an hour and a half while going through 108 POWER POINT SLIDES....literally 108!
• arrival to our home at 10:15pm, rounding out a lovely little 14 hour day
  

Yes, these types of things are exactly what I'd like to give up for Lent this year...!

Cookies

Yes, yes of course I made dodgeball cookies for our last regular season game! Sadly I have to miss our tournament game due to a work event. Good luck girls!!
