Bonjour, Gutten Tag, and Ciao! Back safe and sound from Europe. We had the BEST time - seriously it was an amazing vacation!! There are no words to describe it. 12 days of fun, adventure, and European exploration! We went to museums, churches, tops of mountains, parks, and monuments and had the BEST food and drinks ever! A picture is worth 1000 words, and we took over 1000 pictures, so obviously we can't even begin to describe this fabulous trip!

Half Marathon!

 Today we ran the Flying Pig Half Marathon! It was a gorgeous, warm day and we started the race at 6:30am. So early...! Steve got his best time yet and finished the race with his brother in 1 hour, 34 minutes! They did awesome! I came in at 1 hour, 55 minutes and was SO glad to be done! This was definitely the hardest race I've ever done - SO many hills! They seemed to never end. I've never been so happy to see the finish line!

To prepare for today's race, I ran 263 miles and raised over $1000 for the American Cancer Society. Needless to say - HUGE victory :)

PS - thanks to our awesome spectators and supporters! couldn't have run the race and raised all the money without your support!! i'm SO SO SO thankful!

Cake Class

Tonight we graduated from cake class - we got a diploma and everything! We are official. Check out my buddy Rachael and I - class was a piece of cake!!

Cake class 3!

Just finished our 3rd cake class! We learned how to fill cupcakes - I used chocolate - and learned how to make shells, leaves, and a few different kinds of flowers! The haystack looking thing below is supposed to be a "shaggy mum" - I'm still working on that one....!

Cake class 2!

We did a real cake this time! As it turns out, baking an even, smooth looking cake is hard! I made a cake, but it sort of looks like a crooked spaceship. Ah well! Check it out:

Cake Class!!

Tonight I took my very first cake decorating class!! My friend Rachael and I signed up for the class at Michael's and today we experimented with stars on cookies! I sampled my work (and Rachael's), and they definitely taste as good as they look! Next week we have to make a cake - we're busting out the big guns!
