Last weekend we hosted the 9th annual "Friendsgiving". Steve and his buddies started this tradition in college, and over the years new people have joined and we all get together the weekend before real Thanksgiving. This year was our first year hosting, and our first time EVER making a turkey! No one got food poisoning, so I'd say it was pretty successful! We ended up roasting a turkey and deep frying another turkey. It was turkey bonanza at our house, but it was loads of fun.

We got these turkey salt and pepper shakers from Steve's grandparents 2 years ago and I've been dying to use them ever since! How funny/awesome are these?
