I'm 5 months old today!!

Kicks!

Jillian has really learned how to kick lately!! She just goes to town kicking her legs and she has a great time. I think she's picked that up at day care as they have this fancy, fun kicking mat that she loves! Here she is jamming before day care one day this week:

Future Soccer player? Future Irish dancer? Future Rockette?! The possibilities are endless!!

Cousins!

Guess who came to visit Jillian? Her cousins Taylor & Jason!!! Taylor voted "girl" as soon as she found out I was pregnant. After having 0 girl cousins her whole life, she now has TWO baby girl cousins!! Yay!!

You may think this is the dumbest video ever, it just Jillian hanging out. But look at HOW CUTE she is?!!!! This is what she does - she hangs out on her tummy and views all her toys and looks around. I love it so much, it's so funny!

Birthday Babes

These are our FAVORITE Twin Nieces! How is it that they're 3 years old today?? My goodness time flies, and I'm sure their parents whole heartedly agree... Happy Birthday little buddies!!

Adventures in Rice Cereal

We tried out rice cereal a few weeks ago and it was a disaster!!

(Don't let this sweet face fool you - this is just moments before she started screaming!)

 

So we decided to table the cereal (pun intended!) and try it again in a few weeks. Well we made a break through last weekend and now she LOVES it! It's hilarious - she has her arms sticking out like she's ready to pounce on you and the cereal. She's really showing an interest in what we eat and drink - it's awesome! We'll try out some solids soon and see how it goes (my hunch is that it'll go great but will be very messy!)
