Jillian's BFF

Jillian has a BFF, and she's the daughter of my BFF Whitney! Lena is just 2.5 weeks older than Jillian. Here are Jillian and Lena in their respective ovens:

 

And here they are meeting for the first time, around 2 mo old!! Jillian was thrilled to meet her, but she was not thrilled about being put down on the couch......!

Lena was happy to meet Jillian for sure!

And we reunited them this past weekend! Both about 6 mo old!

A very special Valentine

Yesterday we got the most special Valentine of our lives- one from Jillian!! I went to pick her up from daycare after a brutal day at work, and I was so surprised to get this Valentine with some very special handprints on it. I absolutely teared up! It is soooo sweet and we will cherish this very first artwork forever :)

Jillian has a boyfriend at school! He is super cute and apparently they love playing together (and by playing together, I mean being propped up to sitting and staring or trying to pick up a toy!). The other day I went to pick her up, and they had her and her boyfriend playing the piano together!! I almost hated to interrupt them because they seemed to be having such a good time together. It was so adorable! Toy pianos today, symphonies tomorrow!!!!

Good morning from Jillian!

Morning Person

We can't help but wonder if Jillian is going to be a morning person! Sometimes we have to go in to wake her up to go to daycare, but most of the time we walk in and turn on the light and say 'good morning' and she wakes up like this! She is SO excited!!! Some days she wakes up on her own like this. She smiles so big and kicks her legs and is just ready to party!!!! (Hmm I wish we could save this happiness and bottle it up so that when she's a teenager and refuses to wake up before noon, we can remember this little ray of sunshine!!!)
