Baptism!

On Sunday we got Jillian baptized!! It was such a special day and we were so lucky to have our families there to celebrate her big day. We chose to get her baptized at MHCC, the same church we got married at, and the same church I got confirmed at :)  The ceremony was just beautiful and it was such an awesome moment to dedicate our Jillybean to God. Thanks to our families for your unconditional love and support!! Check out our pics:

Ummm notice the giant tears coming from Jillian! She was so good during the first third of the baptism, but then got hiccups, followed by sobs for the next portion of the baptism! She pulled it together though and stopped crying when the minister walked her down the aisle of the sanctuary. She was happy to meet everyone in the congregation!

 

Then we had a great luncheon to celebrate this awesome moment. Love this beautiful cake! Mmmm it was so tasty.

Mom made this baptismal gown! Isn't it gorgeous? It is so special because she made it for our family to use, and this is the same dress that Olivia wore for her dedication a few years ago. Can't wait to pass it down - it is so beautiful :) 

 

 

 

Thanks to everyone who could attend this special day, and thanks for your support to everyone who couldn't make it. We're so thankful for all of you! We are blessed to have Jillian and all of you in our lives :)

New Skillz

Jillian has some new skillz! I love watching her learn and conquer these new milestones. Its so awesome watching her grow!

She "talks" during tummy time! We love her coos and goos - we cannot get enough of it!

 

I've been trying to teach her to hold the rattle and shake it. I don't know if this was a fluke or if it was intentional, but either way she totally rocked this rattle!

Famous

It doesn't matter what your political beliefs are, but Jillian just got a "welcome" greeting from the White House! She's famous already!

Jillybean's First Halloween!

I can't remember the last time I was SO excited for Halloween!! (Actually yes I can - it was 5 years ago when we were on our way to Hawaii and Steve proposed!) But this year was the best Halloween since then, because we have our own little pumpkin to dress up! We were so excited to find a costume and dress her up, even though she has no idea what's going on and can't even eat candy!! It was rainy and cold yesterday, so I put her in her costume the day before and took some pics outside before the weather turned awful. It was so worth it to get some pics of her in the leaves!
