I'm learning that the following things are inevitable when parenting:
1. Diaper blowouts always happen the day after bath night
2. You will always run out of wipes during post blowout diaper/outfit changing time!

Life's a Zoo!

Jillian took her first trip to the zoo last week!! It was a lovely, sunny day (unlike the chilly, overcast/rainy weather we've been having the past few days). We went with our friend Julia and her two little cutie pies - Elise and Stella. They are zoo veterans, and I am not, so they were more than happy to show me the ropes!

Julia is a veteran mom - she rocks the whole 2 baby thing. One in each arm - you go girl!!

(Please note the new blanket in the gorilla picture. Jillian had an entire outfit change after a nasty diaper incident violated her outfit, blanket, car seat insert, and car seat bottom. Nothing breaks you into motherhood faster than a diaper blowout in a public place!! I used the public bathroom diaper changing station for the first time to not only change her diaper, but change her entire outfit....!

Then I promptly scrubbed and sterilized the car seat upon returning home....gross....!)
